Big phil may have burnt his fingers with comments about Ronaldinho.


Phil Scolari reportedly came out of the blue to lend his portion on the Ronaldinho transfer rumours. The Portuguese technician apparently felt bored and decided to put some humour into his life by joining the soccer gossip column and clicking on the Ronaldinho exit tab, before making his bizzare contribution. Scolari's reported comments were:

Perhaps Ronaldinho should leave Barcelona. There's no doubt that he's still among the best five players in the world. He's always indispensable and important for any team. However, my only fear is that of the normal trend in football. From experience, i know that a player can't remain at the very top of the elite for a period of four or five years. Sooner or later, players skills begin to disappear.

Ronaldinho has sent in his reply, saying without mincing words that:

I'm not leaving Barca. The press or whoever can say all they want to but I'm happy here and enjoying myself. My focus is on winning trophies with Barca, and we are fixed on the La liga and the champions league. That's my main concern.
