The stakes are higher for the Blaugana after Madrid won 1-0 away to Atletico.

FC Barcelona's arch-rivals Real Madrid, have secured an away victoy which has placed them seen points further from the second placed Barca in the Spanish La Liga. Ruud Van Nistelrooy scored the only goal fo the Los Merengues, putting them in a more comfortable position and also putting more pressure on FC Barcelona to win today's match as the Catalan giants file out against Deportivo La Coruna at Camp Nou.

The return of Eto'o is an added boost fo the Blaugrana, but a lot needs to be done to ensure that the seven point gap by Madrid doesn't extend beyond that after tonight's encounter.
