Carles Puyol is calm and ready to go against the Los Merengues in the much awaited el clasico at Camp Nou tomorrow. The FC Barcelona captain wants to stop at nothing short of victory for the Blaugrana, which will enable the Catalan giants narrow Madrid's leadership to just one point atop the Spanish Primera. Puyol thinks only of victory and forbids the thought of losing:

We cannot lose against Madrid. It is unthinkable. However, we need to be very serious to win. We're playing against a very effective team. They can score after just a few chances. We are well aware of their capabilities.

Puyol was asked which players will attract sopecial attention from FC barcelona. The Spanish star said:

All of Real Madrid's players are very good. We respect them all. They're all important, but you can't just focus on them. We have top focus on our game and ensure we secure victory.

Puyol rests a lot of hishopes on Samuel Eto'o to deliver the goals needed at Camp Nou:

Eto'o is one of the best forwards in the world. He's supportive and he works hard. When you consider his quality, it's clear that he's one of the best strikers in the world.
