FC Barcelona has recently renewd many of their computer systems in its facilities and has donated the old equipment to charity organisations Conductors Solidaris de Catalunya and Catratxhos.

Conductors Solidaris de Catalunya is a charity organisation that organises transports to conflict areas and the third world countries. The charity is formed by drivers, mechanics, logistics and volunteers that take part in global projects organised in collaboration with other charities, institutions and organisations involved in the distribution of material and making sure that they are handed over to the right end users. On April 24, the 6th Albania-Kosovo Convoy 2006 sets off from Barcelona, taking 60 tons of clothing, school, computer and health materials. The expedition is made up of eight people and a convoy of two trucks, a logistics vehicle and a mobile ICU ambulance that will be donated to Tirana City Council.

Catratxhos is a non-profit organisation that is involved in co-operative trips to Honduras and works in collaboration with the ACOES Honduras association, in order to improve the educational conditions for the children in that country. They often arrange for containers to be sent to Honduras with clothing, school, computer and health materials that are donated to schools in marginal colonies and rural areas.
