Marc Crosas is off to France on a loan deal with French champions Olympique Lyon.

The 20 year old midfielder who has spent 7 years with Barca wants to export his Blaugrana trained talens to the Ligue 1 so as to add more stabiltiy to the midfield of the French side. Crosas has been a quiet but effectively player whenever he's given the chance. The exicted player wants to reward Lyon for the faith and confidence they have placed in him, and will impress the french aside and its fans for the next five months leaing to the end of the French League season this year. Speaking after the succesful loan agreement was reached, Crosas said:

It is very nice that they have taken an interest in me. It means having as many opportunities as possible, a regular place and the chance to make as much of it as I can. It is very difficult to get a regular place in a side like Barça. My objective at OL will be too have a good season.

Crosas was emotional about leaving FC barcelona even on loan, but encouraged himself with the thought of going to another top club. The youngster said:

I

am leaving the best team in the Spanish league to go to the best in France. They are a top level team and are also in the next round of the Champions League. I will be training with a group of players of a similar level to that at Barça.

Crosas adds that he will like to return afterwrads to feature more prominently in FC Barcelona:

I will be exposed to more experience playing in a foreign league, and I hope to return later on in order to use my talents for the development of football at Barca by making my own contribution.

Players Post Match Comments: FC Barcelona - CF Badalona 4:0

Following are some of the player´s post match comments:

Youngster Marc Valiente:

Thuram is a great defender and a great veteran. He is one of the best centre backs in the world. He told me to take things calmly, to keep things easy and not get under any pressure. Badalona tired themselves out in the first half and in the second played defensively and didnt leave us much space. I mustn't forget that my place is in Barça B and there is a long way to go yet. We need a bit more aggression, and in 2B there are lots of veterans. Now it's all over, and on Thursday it's back to training with the B team, which is where I belong.

Other young talent Marc Crosas:

Truth is I was delighted to get this chance. I came in when the game was already over, so I had plenty of space for moving the ball around. Making your debut at the Camp Nou is a great feeling. Guardiola was a player I always try to model myself on. He set a great example to follow. I had a lump in my throat last night. I didn't get any sleep at all.

Santi Ezquerro:

We kept it very serious. We gave a good image of ourselves and won, and that's what counts. I think we all have to take games like this very seriously. We don't want any surprises. I always try to do the best I can with all the chances I get. Those of us who don't get to play as much and are forwards know it is important to score whenever we get the chance.
