At the presentation of his new line of clothing, 10R, Ronaldinho said his style of life is reflected in this new creation: "I play football to the rhythm of samba".


Last Thursday Ronaldinho personally presented his new Hip Hop fashion line 10R in the Italian Pavilion in the Fair of Montjuïc. the media presententation was very high and covered all 5 continents.


The new 10R products among others include football boots, jerseys and caps pruduced by Nike.


One of the new personalized products available are ronaldoinho´s new football boots. Ronaldinho´s new football boots will be worn for the first time officially by the Brazilian superstar in the Barca´s important Champions League match against Levski Sofia.

FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta is very delighted about the extension of the Nike sponsorship deal until 2013. After Laporta saw his team comfortably beating Recreativo 3-0 on Saturday night, the Brca president commented on the new Nike deal that brings in a minimum of € 150 mill. plus bonuses over the next 5 years:

FC Barcelona and Nike have extended their current sport equipment deal by 5 years until 2013. The deal is worth around € 150 mill.
The new deal includes the option to extend the agreement for another 5 years more until the year 2018.

The US sports equipment producer Nike has become the leading brand in world football. Nike transformed the football business from $ 40 mill. in 1994 to $ 1.5 bill. today. Nike currently sponsors 32 football clubs, 18 national teams such as Brazil and has a large number of the world's best players under contract.


FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta is very delighted about the extension of the deal:

The agreement is an international recognition of the level the club has achieved both by its on field success and social commitments. We value the force that Nike gives and that it will continue to provide because FC Barcelona is more than a club to the world.

Nike and FC Barcelona co-operate since 1998. US giant Nike supplies over 50 countries with the FC Barcelona brand and the Barca shirt is one of the most popular in the world.

Barca player Andres Iniesta could change his current sponsor, US sport equipment producer Nike to the German rival Adidas.


Iniesta was under contract for three years with Nike and the contract will expire in August. If no new agreement is made with Nike, rival Adidas has the intention to negotiate a deal with Barca midfielder Iniesta. According to his contract, Andres Iniesta only has permission to start negotiations with rival Adidas, when his old contract with Nike has expired. Iniesta would then join team mate Leo Messi at Adidas while Nike remains official kit sponsor of FC Barcelona.

FC Barcelona has concluded the negotiations with Mediapro and signed a contract for 5 years for € 105 Mill. each season. The stunning amount of € 105 million negotiated by the Club is the minimum and guaranteed income from the TV rights for Barça per year but including incentives the income could even rise to an incredible € 300 Mill.
The previous TV deal with Sogecable (international rights) and Televisió de Catalunya (national rights) earned FC Barcelona about € 80 Mill. per campaign, € 25 Mill. less than the new deal with Mediapro.

Now Barca is keen to re-negotiate their current equipment deal with US giant and sport equipment producer Nike.
