After FC Barcelona, Saviola To Leave Real Madrid?

gabriel
31st December 2007

Former FC Barcelona star, Javier Saviola is not having the dreamed lifestyle he wanted in Real Madrid.

Argentine whizkid, Javier Saviola didn't quite get the deal he had hoped for when he left Barca to arch rivals, Real Madrid. After great promises and sweet talk from Madrid helmsman, Calderon, Saviola has ended up in the shadows of soccer action as the ex-Barca star is left out in the cold.

Perhaps the former U-21 world's best player and all time leading scorer in any single FIFA age group tournament may have enjoyed some more playing time were he to remain in Camp Nou. Now, report indicates that the Los Merengues are planning to loan out Saviola to either Juventus or any other Italian club, and if this doesn't work out, then an English clubside.

How come with all Saviola's unsurpassed records in youth soccer and still impressive skills, he is finding it hard to tie down a regular place in any club? The striker has sored for FC Barcelona and scored for his new club Real Madrid, yet he doesn't get enough action. What could be the jinx?

Saviola Expresses Confidence In Ronaldinho

gabriel
07th October 2007

Ex-Barca star believes Ronaldinho's immense talents will always see him through.

Former FC Barcelona whizkid, Javier Saviola does not lose sleep over the turmoil his good friend Ronaldinho is undergoing. This is because the Argentine striker has complete confidence in the Brazilians skills and talents, assuring that the midfield dynamo of FC Barcelona will overcome all his travails and roar to life in no time. Saviola says:

Ronaldinho is a gifted player who can bring good fortune to any team. Some players have better moments than others, but I don't think Ronaldinho will have trouble overcoming this present situation.People shouldn’t bring in Ronnie’s personal life into this. He’s had a steady lifestyle since I knew him and this has never affected his game. As for Lionel Messi, we all know how well he is doing. I love watching a player with such talent. I think he will be one of the best players in the world in the future. He’s got great talent.

Ronaldinho will display his skills against Atletico Madrid in the La Liga clash at Camp Nou on Sunday 7th October. Kick of time is 17:00 hours ( GMT +1 ).

Saviola's New Madrid Contract Not Proven

gabriel
13th June 2007

Barcelona's Argentine hitman, Javier Saviola's dealings with Madrid remains in doubt.

All ears are now open to hear what Barcelona has to say on the latest round of news involving the Spanish Giant's Argentine forward, Javier Saviola. Barca have chosen to maintain silence on the issue, choosing to focus on the last match they have at hand this weekend to determine who wins the La Liga.

Within a spate of 24 hours, Saviola was in and out of Real Madrid's team for next season, in the sense that it became almost certain that The Rabbit had signed for the Madrid arch rivals, after a purpoted statement from Jose Maria Minguella, a fomer candidate to Barcelona's presidency confirmed this. Minguella said:

I was in Madrid for as much as four days. During this time, I met with those who confirmed to me that Saviola has signed to play for Real Madrid. That must be the reason why he didn't play for Barcelona against Espanyol.

The relationship between Saviola and Barcelona has never been really publicised to a large extent and both parties insist that all is well, just that Saviola has signified interest to leave the Blaugrana at the end of the current season, explaining he needed more playing time.

However, in less than 24 hours after the news of Saviola's departure to Real Madrid, the officials at the Santiago Bernabeu have come out to dismiss the news of a secret contract signing with the youthful goalscorer from Barca.
Madrid's President, Ramon Calderon states:

I say in categorical terms that we have not signed any contract with Saviola.

Javier Saviola has said he wishes to leave Barcelona at the end of the season and has been linked with a lot of clubs in Spain and Italy in addition to clubs in the English Premiership.

Weekly Transfer Rumour III: Saviola joining Real Madrid a Joke

sven
27th April 2007

Spanish football daily "MARCA" have claimed yesterday that FC barcelona striker Javier Saviola has agreed a Bosman move to Real Madrid. The report is amusing, considering that Saviola spoke out in February that he could never join Real Madrid, under no circumstances.

MARCA, an anti-Barca paper "par excellence", who hits out on any opportunity, has started a fiece campaign since the Merengues came a bit closer in the table to arch-rival FC Barcelona. You do not have to be a rocket scientist to figure out that that the Merengue paper is trying to unrest the dressing room by doubting Saviola´s commitment in the final stage of the Spanish Championship race.

Rival Madrid daily "AS" instead, suggested that R.C.D Mallorca have offered Saviola a very lucrative € 10 Mill. deal to join the islanders in the summer. Mallorca is offering a € 4 Mill. signing on fee, plus € 2 Mill. per each of the 3 years of the contract.

So much about the contradicting Saviola rumours coming from Madrid.

So far, Saviola has been linked with a most likely move to Juventus in the summer, if he is not staying at Barcelona. However, the player's new agent, Diego Queiruga, who Marca meant to have reached the verbal agreement on Saviola´s for a Real Madrid move has since told Barcelona based SPORT that their is no truth in the story.

a few days ago, Barca´s technical secretary Txiki Begiristain claimed that Barca would soon table an offer to Javier saviola. Usually, well informed Catalan Television channel TV3 even reported that FC Barcelona will table their offer as following: € 2 Mill. per season plus up to € 1.5 mill. on incentives.

FC Barcelona´s Italian star Gianluca Zambrotta spoke to Saviola before his official after training press conference and revealed:

It's a joke or a lie. Saviola is only thinking about doing a good job until the end of the season.
