5,000 Barca Supporters at open Training

Yesterday, 5,000 Barca fans of all ages attended FC Barcelona´s open training held at the Miniestadi. The players were greeted the players with a standing ovation at the beginning of the session.
The queuing for tickets already started 1 hour prior to the training session and among the fans were people of all ages and backgrounds, including whole families with young children, teenagers, senior citizens and foreigners of many nationalities.


Inside the Mini-Stadium, the occasional Mexican "La Ola" was to be seen, the children sang the Barca anthem and a lot of applause applause for the players.


The visitor of the Miniestadi were particularly delightened and entertained by the training matches and celebrated each move and goal with tremendous enthusiasm.


The matches were played 6 x 6 on a small pitch.


The session ended with the Barça anthem sung from the stands while the players and fans joined in applause for the great atmosphere generated.



A great day, especially for the little ones!

14 different Player´s scored for Barca this season

FC Barcelona are close to their record number of different goalscorers this season. 14 different players have already scored at least 1 goal, leaving them just 2 men short of last season´s 16 different players. term's figure of 16.


FC Barcelona goalscorers in official competitions this season:


Ronaldinho (20), Saviola (12), Gudjohnsen (11), Eto'o (8), Messi (8), Iniesta (7), Deco (6), Giuly (6), Xavi (5), Márquez (2), Ezquerro (2), Puyol (1), Gio (1), Zambrotta (1).


When the club won the title in 2004/2005, 13 different players scored goals in official competitions. Last season, there were 16 players, who scored.
Now, with 13 official matches remaining, 11 in La Liga and at least two in the Copa del Rey, the record number of 16 is in reach.

Ronaldinho selected for Clasico against Real Madrid

FC Barcelona´s inspitational forward Ronaldinho has been included in the squad list for "El Clasico" against Real Madrid on Saturday, despite muscular problems in his left leg. The Brazilian superstar will still be a doubt right up until the last minute.


Juliano Belletti, Deco and Thuram have been included after they had been left out against Sevilla.


Giuly are Zambrotta are suspended while Gio and Motta have been left out by Barca coach Frank Rijkaard.
