Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck has thrown in the towel as The Blues lose steam on Ronaldinho Chase.
The official at Stamford Bridge was frank and truthful about his team's chances of signing Ronaldinho next season, and his response showed that not much hope was being entertained by the English side, after a hail of rumours and counter-rumors greeted the news of transfer surrounding the Brazilian in recent times. In latest reaction to the possibility of Ronnie moving to Chelsea FC, Bruce said:
I don't see it being likely that Ronaldinho will be here next year. Anything was a possibility and certainly there had been rumours and discussions of that, but I don't see it happening.
The main reason the Chairman gave was that:
We are looking to balance some losses at the club, and a player like Ronaldinho will blow up the already huge money spent in recent years on buying new players. We have to focus on less expensive players and hope they will become of great value to us in the future when we want to sell them.
However, the real reason Chelsea may not be continuing their chase for the Barca star is believed to be the outright refusal of FC Barcelona to sit down on the negotiation table with Chelsea FC for talks on a possible transfer of the Brazilian super star.

The news of Drogba's discontent with Chelsea FC and his rising interest to play in Spain is old news. However, the story has taken a different and more specific angle since the Chelsea FC big man indicated in a reported press statement that that he wanted to play for Barca. Since then, it's been a constant look in at Camp Nou as a flood of attention from the world press, especially from England has greeted Drogba's alleged confession of a secret admiration and fantasy with life and soccer at Camp Nou. Drogba's team mate in the Ivorien national team, Toure Yaya has now confirmed the interested and love struck Drogba is for real. Toure and Drogba have been having very close talks over the past week, as both are in the Ivorien national team camp for the African Nations Cup in Ghana. Now FC Barcelona player Toure reveals more details from their heart-to-heart discussions:
Drogba loves Barcelona very much and wants to play for the club. He has said this to me and I know he wants to come to Barca. We have spoken about Barcelona, and it all looks very good. Of course, it will be difficult, because Madrid and Milan are also after him. In my opinion, it would be very good if he were to join us, because we have lots of great players and he would be another one of them. He is a player with quality and one that can help the team.
The news of Drogba's imminent transfer out of Chelsea FC is expected to climax this summer. AC Milan, Real Madrid and Inter Milan are all thought to be interested in signing the top scorer at Stamford Bridge.

Marc Crosas is off to France on a loan deal with French champions Olympique Lyon.
The 20 year old midfielder who has spent 7 years with Barca wants to export his Blaugrana trained talens to the Ligue 1 so as to add more stabiltiy to the midfield of the French side. Crosas has been a quiet but effectively player whenever he's given the chance. The exicted player wants to reward Lyon for the faith and confidence they have placed in him, and will impress the french aside and its fans for the next five months leaing to the end of the French League season this year. Speaking after the succesful loan agreement was reached, Crosas said:
It is very nice that they have taken an interest in me. It means having as many opportunities as possible, a regular place and the chance to make as much of it as I can. It is very difficult to get a regular place in a side like Barça. My objective at OL will be too have a good season.
Crosas was emotional about leaving FC barcelona even on loan, but encouraged himself with the thought of going to another top club. The youngster said:
I
am leaving the best team in the Spanish league to go to the best in France. They are a top level team and are also in the next round of the Champions League. I will be training with a group of players of a similar level to that at Barça.

I will be exposed to more experience playing in a foreign league, and I hope to return later on in order to use my talents for the development of football at Barca by making my own contribution.

Former FC Barcelona star, Javier Saviola is not having the dreamed lifestyle he wanted in Real Madrid.
Argentine whizkid, Javier Saviola didn't quite get the deal he had hoped for when he left Barca to arch rivals, Real Madrid. After great promises and sweet talk from Madrid helmsman, Calderon, Saviola has ended up in the shadows of soccer action as the ex-Barca star is left out in the cold.
Perhaps the former U-21 world's best player and all time leading scorer in any single FIFA age group tournament may have enjoyed some more playing time were he to remain in Camp Nou. Now, report indicates that the Los Merengues are planning to loan out Saviola to either Juventus or any other Italian club, and if this doesn't work out, then an English clubside.
How come with all Saviola's unsurpassed records in youth soccer and still impressive skills, he is finding it hard to tie down a regular place in any club? The striker has sored for FC Barcelona and scored for his new club Real Madrid, yet he doesn't get enough action. What could be the jinx?

Stronger indcations emerge as Ronaldinho and Rijkaard seem to be developing a rocky relationship.
After some tensed up weeks of press heated Ronaldinho transfer rumours, a slight training ground brush up has heigthened press frenzy about Barca's midfielder, Ronaldinho leaving the Blaugrana and heading for Chelsea FC or more certainly, AC Milan of Italy. The magical Brazilian may likely not take it too well if he doesn't start in tomorrow's el clasico, but players of Ronaldinho calibre don't leave in January as they are champions league cup tied. A lot of heat is however building up well ahead of the 2008 transfer season in summer.
Ronaldinho was benched in past matches due to injury and largely from fatigue from playing too many matches for both club and country, but the midfield sensation says he's now ready to play ful flight and get back his reguklar place in the star-studded Barca squad.
